Ownership & copyright
© 2026 Denis Brodschii. All rights reserved.
Earth is Optional is independently created and published by Denis Brodschii (the creator). Copyright in the creator’s original, legally protectable contributions to the game and website—including original code, writing, artwork, design, and the original selection and arrangement of content—is retained by Denis Brodschii. Making the game available free of charge does not transfer ownership or make those contributions public domain.
Except for the permissions below, an applicable third-party licence or uses permitted by law, prior written permission from the creator is required to reproduce, adapt, redistribute, republish, sell, license or commercially exploit those protected contributions. This includes repackaging the game, distributing modified copies, or extracting protected material for another product.
No permission is granted to pass off the game or its original material as your own, remove ownership notices from copies you are permitted to make, or present another product or service as an official Earth is Optional release. References to the game for genuine reviews and discussion remain welcome.
Permission to play & share coverage
You may download the official early-access release and install and play it for personal, non-commercial use. This is a limited, non-exclusive permission to use the game, not a transfer of intellectual property. Share the official website or download link rather than hosting copies of the APK.
You may publish gameplay recordings, streams, screenshots and reviews, including monetised coverage, using the creator’s material as part of that coverage. Identify the game as Earth is Optional and include the official website link where practical. This permission does not extend to selling or redistributing the game or its assets separately, or implying sponsorship or endorsement. Music and other third-party content remain subject to their own licences.
Publisher & creative brand
The publisher and copyright owner identified in this notice is Denis Brodschii, acting in a personal capacity. Stoked Worlds is a creative brand used by Denis Brodschii; it is not a separate legal entity or the copyright owner. No registered business name or registered trade mark status is claimed for Stoked Worlds.
Permissions & ownership enquiries
For uses outside these permissions, obtain written permission from Denis Brodschii before proceeding. A change of product or publishing brand does not, by itself, transfer copyright or grant new reuse permissions.
Credits & licensed material
Third-party software, music, fonts, models, imagery and data are identified in the credits and source notes and accompanying licences. Those licences continue to apply to those components. This notice does not claim ownership of public-domain material, scientific facts or rights belonging to others, or restrict uses their licences permit. Source credits do not imply endorsement.
Early access and accuracy
This release is in development. Features, progression and availability may change, and bugs or device-specific performance issues may occur. Future releases or features are not promised by this notice.
The game is for exploration, learning and entertainment. Its scenes use simplified or reconstructed representations; website distances and sizes are composed for presentation. It is not a tool for real spacecraft navigation or mission planning.
Nothing on this page excludes, restricts or modifies rights, guarantees or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

The website stores sound and motion preferences in your browser. The gameplay video is embedded using YouTube's privacy-enhanced player. Loading or playing it connects to YouTube; its terms and privacy policy apply. External YouTube links also open that service.
